Joan handles the marketing side of things at Basswood Counsel. She is a vibrant and creative spirit who seamlessly blends marketing insights and strategies with creativity. As a former Senior Training and Development Officer, she spent eight dynamic years in corporate where she was deeply involved in project launches and training and development initiatives.

In 2015, Joan ventured into the exciting world of marketing. Since then, she has worked with an array of clients – from personal brands to law firms and medical practices, amplifying their online presence through Search Engine Optimization, reputation marketing, and engaging social media strategies.

A Swiftie at heart, Joan is a fan of Taylor Swift’s storytelling prowess, musicality, brand marketing and business acumen. When not working, Joan geeks out on fragrance notes, enjoys watercolor painting, board games with her family or spends time with the master of the house – their 4-year old cat, Mr. Kippi.
